Traffick Slam was an evening of poetry, music, and dance held on May 21, 2019 at The Imperia in Somerset. Sponsored by the NJ Coalition Against Human Trafficking, various artists shared their gifts to raise awareness about human trafficking and funding for NJCAT programming. Five poetry winners read their poems, including Justice Network’s own Michael Creange. Singers, dancers, and artists shared musically. Guests enjoyed a fabulous tricky tray and silent auction. And Gina, survivor consultant to the NJCAHT, shared her personal story of triumph after trafficking.
